Are You Seriously Ready to Get Organized?

In July of 2011 on NeedleArtist and Crafters on Blog Talk Radio (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/andreagfields we featured a month to get organized with Sheila Hawkins, owner of the Third Eye Group (http://www.thirdeyegroup.org). This series featured four episodes that were all thought provoking, motivating, inspiring and in short gave every listener answers to daunting why questions. For example, why can't I just make myself do ....

I was so inspired by that series, that I put a lot of the lessons that Sheila taught to practice and actually cleaned up my sewing room and organized my craft supplies. . . . . In fact, I've been undergoing a total transformation in terms of my ability to become and stay organized. It's been both refreshing and liberating.

I believe that one of the main reasons I'm having such notable success is because I read the newsletter articles Shiela sends to me, and I participate in as many teleconferences as I can. I've even purchased and read one of her publications and actually followed the instructions given. In short, repetition has been key for me. I've been regularly saturating myself with her teachings and tips on organization. In other words, I've been keeping the information I need for my transformation in front of me. With that in mind. I've invited Sheila Hawkins to be a monthly contributor to our Blog Talk Radio show - for our mutual success.
In case you didn't know, the goal of the Third Eye Group is to help you get the most out of your time, increase your productivity and positively impact your bottom line. Traits that all successful business owners embody. To learn more about Sheila and the Third Eye Group go to her website http://www.thirdeyegroup.org

In case you didn't know, http://www.blogtalkradio.com/andreagfields broadcast every Monday morning from 6:00 - 6:30 AM. Give us a listen.

Meet Candle Maker - Toynga

I am very happy to introduce you to a sister who makes the candles that actually made me turn my back on Yankee Candles. Her name is Toynga. For two years I have been replacing several of the products that I normally purchase from stores with products that are hand crafted and/ or custom made. One product that I had literally given up hope of finding a suitable hand made replacement for is Yankee Candles.

As a matter of order I peruse the web sites, blogs, ... of all new member of NeedleArtist and Crafters. What initially made me curious about Toynga's candles were the candle names. Names I had never heard associated with candle scents before. So, out of curiosity I connected with her about her processes, customer rections. . . . She was very informative and accommodating. So I ordered a few tarts. Where most candles I've tried have failed for me is that they will smell good unused but when burned aroma's are virtually undetectable. How that happens I don't know, but it does.

The tarts and candle I purchased from Toynga were well packaged and arrived a day sooner than she promised. As I unwrapped each item I could smell it very well and was so happy about it. I placed one tart in a small bowl in my rest room and the fragranced filled my small bathroom delightfully. I lit the jarred candle in my living room and to my delight, the fragrance wafted from my living room to my dining room to my hall. Everyone who entered my home asked - what smells so good.

I finally burned the tart I placed in the bathroom after a couple of weeks - after the fragrance waned, but do my delight once the soy began to melt the fragrance was once again full and heavenly. The fragrance of the burned tarts lingered in the room as the burned candle did - for hours. And, the candle disappated as it burned.

If you love candles and or know someone who does this is a hand made crafter whos product won't disappoint you. Another thing I loved about doing business with Toynga is that she actually sent me a sample tart with my purchase. Although that fragrance was a bit perfumy for me, my daughter loved it. Which leads me to another point. I was sure about what I like but unsure about what I wanted to try. Because she took the initiative and sent me a sample of the fragrance I was debating about - I feel like I didn't waste my money. I'm sure that you will be very pleased with the process and your purchase. Gotta love a sister who is consistent, persistent, and true to her word.
