Eileen is not only one of my favorite crafters, she is my sister-in-law. I have every confidence that she will exceed each and every goal that she has established for herself because she is persistent and consistent. She is a true and living example of how you can change your love for a art or craft that you know little to nothing about into an expression joy - if you will simply stick with it.One of the disciplines that I loved during my formative years was finding beautiful cards and stationary and writing letters or notes to people to help them commemorate holiday’s and special events. In fact, just like I did when I was a teenager, every time I get a letter with my name and address hand written on it I actually get excited. I know that the sender of that letter is someone who put forth deliberate effort to let me know that they were thinking about me and wanted me to know it.I actually have a small collection of cards that I cherish and pull out several times a year to read over again and again when I’m feeling less that loved, appreciated, beautiful. . . . There is magic in sending cards to people you love that simply doesn’t exist to the same degree as sending and receiving e-messages.Think of it this way, a lot of people send flowers and spend money commemorate special events. But, less than a dozen people for every 100 people you know are likely to take the time to sit down and think of something nice or poetic to say. Very few people make themselves use their best penmanship so that the recepient can read the words and feel the love with which they were written. Very few people, actually purchase a stamp to put on a card then put the card in a mail box so that it will be hand delivered t with bills and advertising literature and actually brighten someone’s day. A hand crafted and hand written card means a lot. People may easily forgets who brought food, or gave them money or even came to your special events. But, a tangible memento to commemorate special moments of your life can be cherished for ever.Eileen is having an amazing sale on her hand crafted cards. She is selling six hand crafted cards of your choice for only $12.00. That’s only $2.00 each for a hand crafted master piece that the recipient will be delighted to receive. Go to www.craftykards.blogspot.com to check out a sampling of Eileens work. If you don’t see what you’re looking for send her a message. She will be happy to craft a few cards especially for you.
